But soon you'll forget all the bad parts, and you'll be ready for next year!

I was out there yesterday too, finished at about 6 PM. The views made all the suffering worth it, and the weather was perfect too.

Doing the High Pass Challenge? That should be a piece of cake for you.matt mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16714669646251289155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7585740.post-14171226726337669342008-08-01T12:26:00.000-07:002008-08-01T12:26:00.000-07:00Congrats, Doug! You've got some serious grit.

One year I felt particularly paranoid about riding in pace lines with people I didn't really know, and decided to solo RAMROD, especially the early part from Enumclaw to Longmire. By the time I started the climb to Paradise, I felt like the zip had completely gone out of my legs. Climbing Cayuse was an endless affair. (But then I think it always is...)

The stretch down 410 works great to erase the memories of the painful climbs behind you...Maartenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12749463418934289484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7585740.post-23868643709062375062008-08-01T11:45:00.000-07:002008-08-01T11:45:00.000-07:00I don't know what SAG (Support and G..?) but it's ...I don't know what SAG (Support and G..?) but it's basically the support vehicles on the course. As for the photo-clicking, I got lucky. We started so late that we were among the last people at the top of Paradise, so I just went to the last page of photos and there I was.

Thanks for the nice comments. I'm heading for a massage.Doug Walshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09492162192250783305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7585740.post-2228735376969120342008-08-01T11:28:00.000-07:002008-08-01T11:28:00.000-07:00Way to hang in there Doug!!Way to hang in there Doug!!Eric Floydhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17722160554273427136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7585740.post-83755860412447376522008-08-01T10:49:00.000-07:002008-08-01T10:49:00.000-07:00Congratulations!!! And did you have to click through 680 photos to find yours or were you directed to it? (I'm mostly curious about the picture clicking). j/k

Congrats! You put your body past the limit and you succeeded! I'm glad you didn't quit so close to the finish.Jessica A. Walshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08813007842584063423noreply@blogger.com
