This shot is from the webcam at Stevens Pass on the morning of November 1. Just last week we were talking about a backup plan for Thanksgiving in case there's no snow anywhere yet. I am happy to say that doesn't look like it's going to be a problem.And you might be wondering about how we could spend our day on the slopes instead of eating? It's easy -- Thanksgiving dinner is just too much of a hassle when you're just two people 3,000 miles from family. Not to mention, after 1pm the entire mountain is yours with nobody else in sight. It's awesome.
