Kristin was accepted into Seattle University's "Leadership Executive MBA" program and will be heading back to school this fall. She was expecting to go to the University of Washington, but she found that she actually preferred the smaller, private feel of Seattle University over the much larger U-District school. In fact, the acceptance letter came just in time as Kristin was about to return to UW for an additional round of interviews. Now she needn't do that.
It's going to be a tough couple of years while she juggles a full-time job, school, and personal life, and I anticipate having to pick up some of the slack and tolerate her being busier than normal but if all goes well, it will be a sacrifice worth making. I'm really proud of her and am glad that she got into the program she felt more comfortable with, and one that friends of mine have said nothing but good things about.
