Bill Harris at Dubious Quality has an astonishingly thorough turn-by-turn guide for what he's considering the best PC game of the year: Armageddon Empires. It's a hex-based, 2D, card-based strategy game. Personally, the game seems a little too dense for my tastes but if you're into gaming on your PC, enjoy turn-based-strategy games, and don't mind games with steep learning curves you may want to check it out.
