I came home from the store this afternoon and found my box of BioShock Strategy Guides sitting on the porch. I had seen a PDF version of the book over a month ago, but that doesn't do it justice. The book is printed on heavyweight paper and the shear heft of the book just feels so awesome in your hands. Yeah, I'm really proud of this one. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of all the books I write (mostly all of them, at least) but usually there's one or two each year that really strike a chord with me and hold a special place in my heart. This is one of them. Actually, this may be one of the best books I've written in my seven years of doing this. Definitely top three.
But I digress, signed copies of the guidebook will be shipping out tomorrow. Eric, Ben, Jeff, Mark, and Mathew are the lucky recipients of the Official BioShock Strategy Guide. If you were late in getting an email in to me for this giveaway, check back in early October as I'll have two more guidebook giveaways then. That is, if writing them doesn't kill me first...
