The real downside of this lengthy windstorm just occured to me. Tens, if not hundreds, of trees are probably being blown down across the many miles of nearby mountain bike trails. Trees that will require hundreds of man-hours to clear.
And as a self-proclaimed hater of trailwork, I do not look forward to helping make those trails rideable again. I will, but I won't like it.
